My love of baking started at an early age making cakes with my Mum. It wasn't until my children were grown up that I realised I loved the decorating side of making cakes too after making several birthday cakes for them and my husband.
It all started as a hobby, then in 2018 I decided to take it further and launched my new business making cakes for all occasions. I spent many hours perfecting my recipes and took several face to face and online courses with some of the best tutors in the country to improve my skills.
As my business progressed I discovered my love for making elegant designs and sugar flowers.
In 2021 I rebranded and became Cakes by Louisa and decided that my real passion lies with making beautiful, elegant wedding cakes.
